2012 SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The American Council of the Blind of Colorado (ACBCO) has created an annual scholarship program for Colorado students who are legally blind. ACBCO will present up to four scholarship awards to outstanding blind/visually impaired students in 2012.

All legally blind, full or part-time students admitted to academic and vocational training programs at the post-secondary level for the 2012-13 school year are encouraged to apply for one of these scholarships. A cumulative grade point average of 3.3 is generally required, but extenuating circumstances may be considered for certain scholarships. Applicants must be legally blind in both eyes. Applications and supporting documentation must be submitted in hard copy print, post-marked by March 2, 2012 and sent to:

Barbara Boyer, Executive Director
American Council of the Blind of Colorado
1536 Wynkoop Street, Suite 201
Denver, CO 80202
