The Board of Directors regularly reviews and updates the ACBCO Bylaws.
The Board recognizes that every Board member must manifest to each other and to its stake holder’s good faith acceptance of Board responsibilities and commitment to the Board’s own excellence. The Board acknowledges that it must articulate and enforce those criteria by which the performance contributions of a Board member are to be measured.
The ACBCO Board of Directors strives to provide professional leadership to our organization. Each year three directors are elected. Following is the job description for our Board members along with other documents that help us to ensure that we understand are role and can guide ACBCO to create a strong, sustainable organization that fulfills our mission to help all who are blind or visually impaired in the State of Colorado.
The Board of Directors annually signs a Conflict of Interest Policy.
ACBCO has adopted a Governance Policy to provide for the most efficient and effective means by which to manage our organization.
